Hi Jason This issue is a permission issue and the UI is reviewing the scenario. https://jira.skbroadband.com/browse/BPM-14644 for meet requirement , user action need to be required directly. so currently under consideration is Prompt user to acquire Notification permissions after boot-up 1) Press the confirmation button to go to the Settings screen, and the notification function works after confirmation (meet requirement) 2) Press the cancel button to exit without permission (does not meet requirement) Digicap is considering changing the scenario as above. is there any problem with the Google test? I think there will be no problem if you guide 1) to 3PL. Please let me know your opinion. Thank you YK.Jung |

Hi YK, Our other "ATV12" project also use customer launcher, they also design their notification bell. I haven't seen they ask user to allow any permission after boot-up. Their notification works fine (icon can be updated correctly) after I insert USB. I don't know how to explain it to 3PL. Thanks, Jason |

Hi Jason As a result of SKB's review, SKB cannot apply the method(link) you told me. (They say there's a structural problem now) So, SKB/Digicap says that if STB do not have permission at initial boot, it will display a popup requesting permission from the user. Thank you YK.Jung |

Hi Jason, SKB worked as follows. 1. Added a menu so that user can enter the notification access menu in the SKB setting menu 2. Hi Mr. Kim, 3PL will ask how users knows? Does SKB write it on user guide? I think the "Request runtime permissions" is more acceptable. (Please refer to nugu_permission.png). Hi jason Of course, your opinion is correct, but due to the current schedule, Digicap is no longer available for modification, (In the future, request runtime permissions will be implemented as you requested, but not now.) Hi Jason I asked SKB manager to put the information in the User Guide, but SKB manager says it is almost impossible. Please use the following information "If a user wants to use the feature, user can hear the description of the feature through the SKB consultation call." Thank you YK.Jung |
